George Wendt, the famous actor for playing Peterson norm in the sitcom that has been running for a long time “cheers,” has died. He is 76 years old.
Wendt received six Emmy nominations for his role in the NBC comedy series.

Born on October 17, 1948, in Chicago, Wendt starred in several roles on television, including “M*A*S*H,” “Taxi” and “Soap” before a big rest on “Cheers.”
Wendt starred in every episode of “Cheers” from the time of the first show aired in 1982 to its last episode in 1993.
