The helicopter rotor from a deadly accident last week was taken from the Hudson River, four days after the fierce accident that killed the six people in it, according to a statement from the National Transportation Safety Council.
Rotor system recovery including transmission and roof beam, said NTSB on Monday night, added: “They also restore the tail rotor system.”
The main body, which includes cockpit and cabin, has been found, said NTSB.

“The main component of the Bell 206 L-4 helicopter that crashed into the Hudson river last week was found Monday, very helping to investigate the National Transportation Safety Council on the fatal accident,” the statement said, in part.
It credited divers from the New York Police Department, the United States Army Engineer Corps and the Jersey City Emergency Management Office.
“Evidence will be brought to a safe location for further examination,” said NTSB’s statement.
“Recovery efforts are now over,” he added.

Pilot, as “Sam” Johnson, took the Spanish tourist family – Siemens executive Agustin Escobar, his wife Merce Camprubi Montal, and their children, ages 4, 5 and 11 – on the tour when Chopper fell on April 10.
The video shows a helicopter that plunged into water as high as 5 feet near the city jersey, new jersey, without the rotor of its tail or the main blade rotor.
NTSB is investigating the cause of the accident. The helicopter was not equipped with flight records, said NTSB.
New York Helicopter Tours, the company behind the helicopter, has closed its operations, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. FAA said that he would launch a direct review of the tour operator safety and records.
