London – The Ukraine drone targets Moscow for the second night in a row on Monday, when the Russian capital prepares the celebration of the victory day that Chinese President Xi Jinping and other friendly world leaders are expected to attend.

Mayor Moscow Sergey Sobyanin said in a statement posted to Telegram on Tuesday that at least 19 Ukraine drones were shot down on the way to the capital last night. The other four drones were shot down near Moscow on Sunday night.

Sobyanin reported that there were no victims or serious damage, even though the debris from the drone fell on the main highway. Russian flight authorities said flights were also suspended at four capital city airports.

The drone shot fell near Moscow was among the 105 intercepted crafts throughout Russia last night, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Ukraine has continued a series of drones to Russia when the country is preparing to mark the day of victory on May 9 – Annual celebration of the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.

Sustainable Ukraine strikes have forced Russian authority in Crimea to be occupied to cancel the planned day of victory day, with Governor Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev announced the event would not be continued due to security issues, in a statement quoted by the TASS news agency managed by the State.

Putin last month announced a unilateral ceasefire that stretched from 8 to 11 May to coincide with the day of victory-wins and the proposal was quickly rejected by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which drives a ceasefire of 30 full days he hopes to form a launch foundation for a broader agreement to end the 3-year-old Russian invasion.

Zelenskyy this week said Putin’s offer was part of the “theater performance,” showing “it is impossible to build any plan for the next step to end the war in two or three days.”

Zelenskyy has also warned that Kyiv could not guarantee the safety of anyone who traveled to attend the celebration of the victory day in Moscow. “We cannot be responsible for what happened in the Russian Federation region,” Zelenskyy told reporters, according to a report by the Ukraine Interfax news agency.

“They give you security; Therefore, we will not give you a guarantee. Because we do not know what Russia will do today,” continued Zelenskyy, adding that Russia can also regulate provocation such as “burning, bombing and so on, only to blame us.”

Meanwhile, Russia’s long -distance strikes to Ukraine also continued overnight until Tuesday, with 11 people injured by drone attacks in Kharkiv, according to local government chief Synegubov.

The Ukraine Air Force said in a post for telegram that Russia launched 136 drones to the country last night, where 54 was shot down and 70 lost on flights without causing damage. The impact was reported in the Kharkiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, he said.
