President Donald Trump will swear at Jeanine Pirro as a temporary US lawyer for DC during the ceremony at the OVAL office Wednesday afternoon – making him the latest Fox news carrier appointed by Trump.
Earlier this month, Trump knocked Pirro – The former judge and prosecutor who had just been hosting Fox News’ “The Five” – for the work after the controversy around the previous pick, Ed Martin.
Martin, who has served as the main prosecutor while DC, lost GOP support for the work. Martin’s past, especially his defense of the rioter January 6 and inflammatory rhetoric around the capitol attack, disrupted his nomination.

Pirro, Trump’s ally, faced his first test as a top federal prosecutor in Washington last week when he talked about the deadly shooting of the two staff of the Israeli embassy.
During the press conference, Pirro said his office was investigating this case as a racial crime and acts of terrorism.
“The young couple at the beginning of their life journey, who will be involved in other countries, their bodies are removed in the cold night in a foreign city in a corpse. We will not tolerate it anymore,” Pirro said during a press briefing last Thursday. “Antisemitism will not be tolerated, especially in the country’s capital.”

Pirro marks the latest Fox News personality to join the Trump administration ranks. Some of the most famous Fox News alumni appointed in Trump’s second administration including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who hosted “Fox & Friends Weekend, “and Deputy Director of FBI and Bongino, who hosted” without filter with and Bongino “before he left the network in 2023.
Pirro has become Trump’s old ally, since its time as a prominent prosecutor in New York. He was the early supporter of the 2016 campaign and openly defended him during the “Access Hollywood” tape scandal.
One of Trump’s last action before leaving the office in 2021 was to issue a forgiveness of the last minute to Pirro’s ex -husband, the old GOP donor.
With less than an hour before his term of office ended, Trump gave the last forgiveness to Albert Pirro, who was sentenced to more than two decades ago over 34 conspiracy and tax embezzlement after he was discovered that it has incorrectly reduced more than $ 1 million in luxurious personal expenditure in the elimination of taxes for his business.
