President Donald Trump, widely Interview with Time Magazine Published Friday, claiming he had “made 200 agreements” at tariffs and said he spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In the cover story, where Trump discussed his first 100 days in the office, the President was asked about the prediction of the White House Advisor Trading Peter Navarro about “90 agreements in 90 days.”
“I have made 200 agreements,” Trump said. When asked to confirm that number, Trump said “100%.”
Trump, however, will not describe which country is strengthened by the agreement or its provisions. He met with various foreign officials in the White House in the last few weeks of tariffs and other economic problems, but had not yet announced any agreement.
“I will say, for the next three to four weeks, and we are finished,” Trump told Time. “We will be finished.”

About the Chinese problem – who faced the highest tariff level from the government – Trump said President XI had called him.
“He was called. And I don’t think it’s a sign of weakness in his name,” Trump said.
The White House in the last few days has softened its attitude to China, telling reporters that talking to Beijing moved in the right direction. But Chinese officials, before the interview when Trump was published, denied the characterization of the White House.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun on Thursday said that the administrative claim of active discussion occurred “Fake News.” On Friday, Jiakun said “China and the United States have not yet consulted or negotiated about tariff problems” and “The United States should not confuse the public.”
