Attorney General Pam Bondi said on Sunday he hoped that Trump would “possibly” leave the president after his second term – even when he left the door slightly open towards him serving four more years in what he described as a “heavy elevator” to change the US constitution.
“President Trump has undergone a full period. He has a full term of his second term. He is a very smart person and – we, I hope we can have him for 20 years as our president, but I think he will be finished possible after this semester,” Bondi said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”
“Possible?” Host Shannon Bream asked.

Attorney General Pam Bondi spoke at a press conference at the Department of Justice, 12 February 2025, in Washington.

“Well, constitution – we must look at the constitution,” Bondi answered. “It will be a heavy elevator.”
“And do you get two -thirds from the Senate and the Parliament to go with you -but is the concession really -the only way to do it?” Said Bream.
“This will be a heavy appointment,” Bondi answered.
