In a briefing with new influencers and media, the Press Secretary of the White House Karoline Leavitt indicated that one of President Donald Trump’s priority was to pass the reconciliation, and that the President was discussing the bill with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson in the Oval Office on Monday.
“This is a big problem. We have to solve it. He is working with Congress. In fact, he met with speaker Johnson, I thought, in a few minutes today, at the Oval office, to discuss this bill and measurement,” Leavitt said.

He said they were “very confident” the package would “cover more funds for the construction of border walls and mass deportation.”
Trump also wants to see “tax deduction ratified in this reconciliation package that does not include taxes on tips, no tax on social security, no overtime tax, no tax on social security for our seniors,” he added.
