Press Secretary of the White House Karoline Leavitt said the countries had summoned Trump about the upcoming tariffs but did not provide details about which country or how much he had conveyed.
“I don’t have a certain number, but I can tell you, there are several countries who call the President and call his team in a discussion about this tariff,” Leavitt said
Administrative officials also openly talk about imposing tariffs in about 15% of countries with the largest trade imbalance with the US
The final details are still not regulated, the source is emphasized. Leavitt said on Tuesday that the president currently working with his team “perfected him to ensure this was a perfect agreement for the American people and American workers.”

Whatever the tariff, Trump’s administration believes that they will have an overall positive effect on the US economy, including preventing other countries from “tearing” US administration also insisting that tariffs will increase the domestic and work industry, by convincing companies to produce in the US rather than import goods from abroad.

However, many experts note that some of these objectives are in conflict and cannot be achieved simultaneously. They further warned that the rate bear the risk of giving tips to the US into the recession.
