Speaker Johnson tries to protect the fate of Megabill from Trump-Musk Crossfire

Speaker Mike Johnson worked to remain focused on “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” on Friday because all eyes remained at President Donald Trump and Elon Musk in the midst of their bitter public feud.

Johnson pushed the bill that was passed in a house that advanced Trump’s legislative agenda, which was being negotiated in the Senate. Musk has openly criticized the bill, calling it “disgusting abruptity” and encouraged members of the congress to “kill the bill.”

Musk’s criticism reached the boiling point on Thursday – ended in an explosive quarrel between the president and the technology billionaire. On Friday morning, Trump told ABC News that Musk had “lost his mind.”

Johnson was once one of the most powerful musk drivers in Hill Capitol. Johnson met with Musk repeatedly and would even persuade him by law by telephone. Musk even discussed the House Republicans meeting in March.

Asked by ABC News whether it was a mistake to trust Musk, Johnson refused the question and returned the focus to the bill.

“I will not be involved in these things back and forth. I don’t think Americans are too concerned with the Twitter war. I think they care about us to complete our legislative agenda, and ‘a big bill, beautiful’ do that.”

Johnson asserted on Friday that he had a job that had to be done-and was not to be involved in the Musk-Trump quarrel. Still, Johnson was involved in an online battle on Thursday, responding to the Musk post criticizing the speaker.

Some other Republican houses consider disputes and whether the influence of Musk and strong opinions on megabil can affect the passage.

“I think Elon might change the path of this bill two or three days ago when he opposed it because people believed people who could land the rocket back more than they did politicians,” said Republic of Thomas Massie. Massie was one of the two Republicans who opposed the bill when the DPR chose it last month.

Rep. GOP Marjorie Taylor Greene sided with Trump and Musk in various aspects of billing – supporting Musk on the price label. He said in the end he thought his focus had to be on Trump’s agenda.

“I don’t think hitting on the internet is a way to handle all kinds of disagreements, especially when you have a cellphone with each other,” Greene told reporters. “I hope this is successful, but I will tell you now that people will focus on ensuring that we get the agenda we chose.”

Representative of the Republic of Troy Nehls, a faithful Trump allies, called for a fight between the President and Musk, said “Enough.”

Although Musk openly disagrees with their party heads – it seems that it seems that the DPR must imitate the president – Some Republicans do not go out of their way to a bad mouth, billionaires.

“Elon Musk can use funds when he sees fit,” Republic of Ralph Norman said when asked if he was worried that Musk would be primary republican. “Once again, he is a patriot and if he does not agree, I respect honesty, really.”

Representative of the Republic of Warren Davidson called for unity.

“I only hope that the people that I really care about get along, that they are improved, that they patch their relationship,” he said. “Disappointing seeing them arguing in public like that.”

House leader House Hakeem Jeffries used the clash, calling it “Welcome Development.”

“As far as this week’s development will make it more likely that we can kill GOP tax fraud, it is a welcome development,” he said.
