After two days of testimony about how his relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs grew with violence and coercion, Cassie Ventura faced six hours of tiring cross -examination on Thursday, when the defender lawyer tried to doubt his credibility and described it as a participant who was willing in their sexual activities.
The defender lawyer turned to a decade of archived text messages to question the venture of his previous testimony, highlighting his desires that were clearly involved in the lifestyle of Combs that swinging at a drug -fueled Pora party. They insist that he is not a victim of sex trade or extortion and that an innocent comb of the federal charges he faces.
During other parts of the cross examination, Combs Lawyer Anna Estevao seems to use a message that seems normal-like the date of planning or expressing their romantic feelings to each other-as an opportunity to humanize the comb, which sometimes nodded his head when his lawyer questioned Ventura.
Combs lawyers argue that, while he has made mistakes, is involved in domestic violence and drugs, he has never committed sexual harassment or trading anyone. Sitting next to his lawyer, Combs appeared to be involved in a cross -examination and at one point signaled his heart with his hand towards the wife of his main defender lawyer, a former prosecutor whose client now included the alleged CEO of Unitedhealthcare, the murderer of the suspect Luigi Mijione, who had entered an innocent defense.
Venture’s testimony as a star witness to prosecution is expected to conclude tomorrow, given the concern that the singer, who is now eight months pregnant, can give birth this weekend.

Defenders’ lawyers use text messages to show joint affection between Combs and Ventura
Ventura openly recognizes both in direct and cross -examination that he likes a comb for more than a decade and hopes to build life with him. He told the jury that he fell in love with a comb shortly after they met, and the jury saw a message from the beginning of their relationship.
“We just really have one week with each other together and I can say that this is the best and worst,” Ventura wrote in 2007. “I am sad, crazy, frustrated and injured because you don’t feel like I am right.”
The jury also saw a message from August 2009, when the couple first went public with their relationship, and other messages from more than two years in their relationship.
“I really love you, it spends my life,” he wrote in April 2010.
Ventura testified that while the messages looked positive, he began to see a different side of the comb when they spent more time together – which he said was vulnerable to violence, jealousy and anger.
“The more time I spend with him and know him, his true personality – or at least what I think is his true personality – out,” Ventura testified.
Defenders’ lawyers press Ventura about a clear will to be involved in Freaks
During his direct examination, Ventura admitted that he first agreed to participate in Freak-off to make Combs happy by pampering himself in his sexual fantasy. He said he quickly realized that he did not enjoy the pora that was triggered by drugs that could take place for days and including he had sexual meetings with prostitutes and strangers.
To fight Ventura’s statement, he was forced to plan and participate in Freak-off, defenders’ lawyers present a series of messages that seem to show a different attitude. “I am always ready to panic,” he wrote in August 2009.
The jury also sees a text message that suggests a comb expressing his interest in the wishes of Ventura, even though he previously testified it was not a problem with the comb. The messages also seemed to show that he tried to be fun by preparing for strange people, including by visiting a sex shop before a party.
“Trying to find something to impress you,” he wrote in one message. At least one of the judges raised his eyebrows as an explicit message displayed in court.
The defender lawyer urged Ventura about his reason to be reluctant to be involved in Freak-off, showing that he was frustrated not by violence or coercion but rather because he wanted more than a relationship.
“When we used to panic when we fell in love. There were no questions raised, it felt true, like that really made sense for the next step in our shared sex life. I was nervous that I was only a girlfriend you got with your fantasy from December 2009.
During his first two days of testimony, Ventura testified at length about the 2016 episode when he said he tried to leave a strange person but was attacked by Combs-A attack captured in a video of the surveillance and shown to the jury. On a cross examination, Ventura was shown a text message that suggested he wanted to participate in freak-off, and combs violence may be influenced by drug use.
“The medicines you and Mr. Combs drink that day are a bad collection of MDMA, right?” Said Estevao.
“I don’t know,” Ventura asked.
Defending lawyers suggest relations defined by jealousy together
Defender lawyers urged Ventura about deficiencies in their relationship with Combs, with the reason of jealousy and infidelity running in two directions for the couple.
Ventura admitted that he “had jealousy” from Kim Porter, the late mother of four combs, and was upset when Combs continued relations with other women.
“Disappointing and painful knowing that you are not the main girlfriend?” Estevao asked.
“Yes,” Ventura answered. “It’s not related to every situation, but I’m really jealous of the certain situations he faces.”
The judges are displayed text messages that show combs and venture who expressed anger about their infidelity, with a comb seeing another woman while Ventura was in a relationship with actor Michael B. Jordan. Ventura was asked about his relationship with Kid Cudi-whose real name was Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, and who previously he testified stopped because of tension with Combs-and how he said the Combs “hit” to him when he found their relationship during a strange time.
“Do you feel justified in cheating with Mr. Mescudi because of the affair of Mr. Combs?” Estevao asked.
“I can, I don’t know,” he replied.
