London – At least nine people were killed and other dozens were injured in Russian attacks last night in several districts and residential areas in Kyiv, Ukraine officials said on Thursday.

“Last night, Russia held a massive attack in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Defense said. “Cruising missiles, drones, ballistic weapons -other strikes in peaceful cities and Ukraine homes.”

At least 70 people were injured, including 42 who were treated in hospitals, Ukraine’s emergency services said in a post in the Telegram Message application.

The rescue operation continued earlier on Thursday in the capital, where the first respondent dug through the debris of housing buildings for the survivors, the defense official said.

“This attack is another confirmation – Russia is not looking for peace. That continues to kill Ukraine,” the ministry said on social media.
Outside Kyiv, Russia also targets Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia.
