Rome and London – Pope Francis on Sundays spent 24 consecutive days in the hospital receiving therapy and received an update about world and church affairs, said the Vatican press office in a brief statement.
“That night was quiet, the Pope was resting,” said the holy throne on Sunday morning.

The Vatican said Sunday night that the whale’s condition remained “stable.” But “The overall situation remains complex, encouraging doctors to maintain the prognosis that is maintained.”
The Pope took part in the Sunday morning Mass in the chapel in the 10th floor apartment at Gemelli Hospital, said the Vatican. The Vatican State Secretary, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and a substitute for the general affairs of the State Secretary, Archbishop of Penna Parra, visited the Pope in the hospital to improve it in the church and world problems on Sunday, according to the Vatican.
Officials with the Catholic Church, led by the Pope since 2013, said on Saturday that the 88 -year -old Pope had shown a good response to therapy.

“The doctors, hope to record this initial improvement in the coming days, wisely maintain prognosis to be maintained,” said the Vatican.
Francis was treated at the Gemelli Rome Hospital on February 14 and was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia.
Previously on Sunday, the Pope released the text of his Angelus address, or the weekly address, thanked the doctors and nurses who treated him. He also prayed for many people around the world who were eternal, according to the Vatican.
“During my prolonged inpatient here,” said the Pope, “I also experience the attention of services and tenderness of treatment, especially from doctors and health care workers, which I thank from my heart.”
