After flying to El Salvador to find a meeting with the residents of Maryland who according to the court was wrongly deported from the United States last month, Senator Chris Van Hollen, D-MD., Shared a photo with Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

“I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had the opportunity. I had called his wife, Jennifer, to convey a message of love. I hope to provide a complete update of my return,” Van Hollen said at the Post.

Abrego Garcia’s wife was told that the meeting between Abrego Garcia and Senator Chris Van Hollen was founded by President El Salvador Nayib Bikele, a source close to the family to ABC News.
The source said Abrego Garcia and his wife, Jennifer Vasquez, could not speak, adding that the family did not know where Abrego Garcia was detained.
In a statement from Vasquez provided by Casa, an immigration advocacy group representing the family, Abrego Garcia’s wife said her prayer had been answered.
“My children and my prayers have been answered,” said Vasquez. “The efforts of my family and community in fighting for justice are being heard, because I now know that my husband is still alive. God listens, and the community stands strongly.” “We still have many questions, hopes and fear,” Vasquez added. “I will continue to pray and fight to return to Kilmar’s house,” he said.
The meeting came after Van Hollen shared Video On the previous social media on Thursday showed the guard stopped him and others entered the Cecot, the prison where Abrego Garcia was detained.
The Supreme Court and Federal Judge Maryland ordered the US government to “facilitate” the return of Abrego Garcia to the US after the Department of Justice said that in the submission of a court that the 29 -year -old father was deported wrongly because of “administrative error.”

The White House slammed Van Hollen for traveling and advocating Abrego Garcia, claiming with a little evidence, that Abrego Garcia was a gang member.
The Department of Justice has not yet charged Abrego Garcia with a crime related to gangs and alleged MS-13 membership has been debated in court.
