Republican house leaders on Saturday Launched The Stopgap Funding Bill led by GOP, known as a sustainable resolution, which will fund the government at the current level until the end of September.

The 99-page Bill is increasing defense expenditure by around $ 6 billion more than fiscal level, while non-defense expenses around $ 13 billion are lower than fiscal level 2024, according to GOP leaders. There is an additional $ 6 billion for veteran health care.

This size issued an emergency fund for disaster and community project funding.

In particular, there is an additional funding for the bill, known as “anomaly,” including cutting $ 20 billion for IRS enforcement and increase in funding for immigration deportation operations and customs enforcement.

GOP leaders said the bill was coordinating tightly with the White House. The level of funding in this bill below which was previously determined as part of the Bipartisan Funding Agreement 2023.

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., Playing in front with this GOP plan and will hold a vote at the DPR on Tuesday without the support of Democrats.

Democrats are not on a board with proposals, which means Republicans need almost ununanim support. Johnson has a little room for mistakes with a slim majority 218-214 and is only able to lose one defender if all members vote and attend.

Member of the House of Representatives Allocation Committee Rosa Delauro, D-Conn., Slaid GOP proposal in a statement released Saturday.

“I am very opposed to this full year of resolution, which is a force for the White House and subsequently allows billionaires that are not checked by Elon Musk and President Trump to steal from the American people,” Delauro wrote.

“With the basis of closing a book about negotiations for a full year funding bill that helps the middle class and protect our national security, my colleagues on the other side of the hall have handed over their strength to billionaires that are not chosen,” he added.
