“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for the new findings of the prostate nodule after experiencing an increase in urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, marked by a gleason 9 score (class 5 group) with metastasis to bone,” the statement said.
“Although this is a more aggressive form of disease, cancer seems to be sensitive to hormones that enable effective management. The president and his family are reviewing treatment choices with their doctors,” the statement concluded.
A Gleason score 9 shows an aggressive and aggressive form of prostate cancer. Further shows that cancer cells look very different from normal prostate cells and tend to grow and spread quickly.
