Immigration and Customs Enforcement have arrested more than 32,000 migrants living in the United States without legal status since January 21, the day after President Donald Trump was inaugurated, according to officials of the Ministry of Domestic Security.

These figures include major arrests made by ICE, the arrests made in a criminal alien program and a partnership program called 287G, according to a senior ICE official.

In the first 50 days of Trump’s government, Immigration officials arrested more than 14,000 convicted criminals, 9,800 migrants who had been waiting for a criminal charge of 1,155 suspects in gang members and 44 foreign fugitives, according to a senior ICE official.

“We ended the catch [and] Liberation, and we have returned ICE to its core mission, who arrested our immigration laws, “said the director of ES who acted Todd Lyons.” Secretary Noem and I change the culture of ice into one of the actions and accountability. “

During the call, ICE officials were pressed in the detention room in the future and deportation numbers. They did not provide new details about deportation but acknowledged that some people had been released under their supervision because of “releasing judicial” and through “medical conditions and other humanitarian factors.”

ICE also said they were maximal at the detention facility, with around 47,000 beds taken, and the official said ICE grew space through partnerships with US Marshals services and Federal Prison Bureaus. It also encouraged the congress to act and provide more funds for his efforts.
