House Republicans are scheduled to choose Tuesday in their expenditure bill, known as sustainable resolution, which will fund the government at the current level until 30 September 2025.

In the absence of democratic support, voting is the main test for speakers Mike Johnson-because it is still unclear whether the law supported by Trump can even graduate at the GOP controlled home.

Johnson needs the support of GOP which is almost unanimous and is only able to lose one republic before the second defeat will defeat the bill if all members vote and attend. Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie said he would choose to oppose the move and Rep. Georgia Rich McCormick told reporters that he also leaning not to choose the bill. Some others doubtful, including representatives of Tony Gonzales, Andy Ogles, Tim Burchett, Cory Mills, Eli Crane and Brian Fitzpatrick.

Johnson projects optimism on the prospects of the bill, saying he believes the action will pass. “I feel good. I think we will have a voice,” Johnson told reporters on Monday night.

President Donald Trump has played a huge role this time – the threat of the first closure of the second term of office – practically requested the Republican party to support the action. The President even made a telephone call on Monday to several parliamentary members who were on the fence in an effort to support the votes, according to a White House official.

“The DPR and Senate have compiled, in such circumstances, very good funding bills (” CR “)! All Republicans must vote (please!) Yes next week. Great things will come for America, and I ask all of you to give us a few months to bring us to September so that we can continue to place the” financial house “of the country,” Trump said on Saturday at the Social Post.

Trump added, “Democrats will do whatever they can to close our government.”

On Monday night, Trump threatened to lead accusations against Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie in the preliminary election, following members of the congress said he would vote not on sustainable resolution on Tuesday.

“Member of the Thomas Massie Congress, from a beautiful Kentucky, is an automatic sound” not “about everything, regardless of the fact that he always chose to continue resolution in the past,” Trump wrote on his social media platform. “He must be excellent, and I will lead accusations against him. He is only another Grandstander, who is too much problem, and not commensurate with the fight.”

Across the hallway, Democrat leaders urged their caucus to vote against the action.

“This is not something we can support. Democrat house will not be involved in the Republican efforts to injure the American people,” Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries told reporters on Monday.

The 99 pages Bill will reduce overall expenditure from last year’s funding rate but increase expenditure for the military by around $ 6 billion.

Although there is an additional $ 6 billion for veteran health care, non-defense expenses are around $ 13 billion lower than the 2024 fiscal year level.

This law leaves an emergency fund for disasters but provides encouragement in funding for immigration deportation operations and customs enforcement.

It also increases funds for WIC around $ 500 million, a program that provides free food for women and low-income children.
