DOJ puts a leave lawyer after struggling in Maryland migrant cases

The Department of Justice has placed unlimited leave, a lawyer leave that debated on the name of the government on Friday in a lawsuit filed by a Maryland man who was deported to El Salvador because of wrong, a source who was familiar with the problem told ABC News.

Sumber said Erez Reuveni, Deputy Director who acts for the Immigration Litigation Office, was told by officials at DOJ that he was placed on leave because of “the failure to advocate with enthusiasm” for the benefit of the government.

“In my direction, every lawyer of the Department of Justice is required to be eager to advocate on behalf of the United States,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement on Saturday. “Every lawyer who fails to obey this direction will face consequences.”

The Department of Justice has also placed the Deputy Director of the Immigration Litigation Office for the administrative leave paid, the source who is familiar with the problem told ABC News.

August Flentje, who is a reuvenous supervisor, was placed on administrative leave on Saturday by officials at Main Justice because of “the failure to oversee subordinates,” according to the source.

The appeal frame was handed over to the 4th circuit Saturday morning, Flentje’s electronic sign.

The Department of Justice Officials did not immediately respond to ABC News comments requests.

The government is trying to appeal on the orders of the judges who chaired the Friday session and ordered the department to facilitate the return of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia on Monday.

At one point in the trial, the Reuveni was asked by Xinis under the authority of what law enforcers who seized Abrego Garcia.

Reuveni said he was frustrated because he had no answer.

“Your Honor, my answer to many of these questions will be frustrated, and I am also frustrated because I have no answers to you about many of these questions,” Reuveni said.
