Members of the Billionaire Government Efficiency Department Elon Musk arrived at the Peace Corps headquarters in Washington, DC, on Friday to start a review of the internal system of independent agents as part of efforts to cut their government costs, according to various sources familiar with the problem.
When contacted to comment, the Peace Corps Spokesperson told ABC News, “Staff from the government efficiency department currently works at Peace Corps headquarters and agents support their requests.”
A White House official also confirmed to ABC News that Doge works at Peace Corps.
Sumber told ABC News that the Peace Corps staff had been told that the Doge team members would be at the location and work all weekends, and should be given access to the internal system.
The staff has also been instructed to assist the team in preparing internal accounts, the source said.
Employees have been told to store records from all Doge requests and are told that “equivalent data set” can be provided as a substitute for direct system access, according to sources.

Towards Friday performances, the Peace Corps staff have received an update about the coming of the coming Doge, with some more worried that the Musk Team can try to dismantle the organization in a way that is similar to what happened in USAID, US agent for international development, the source said.
Peace Corps, was founded in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy and was then permitted by the Congress, recruited and spread American volunteers to support development efforts throughout the world.
In submitting a fiscal year fiscal year budget to the congress, former President Joe Biden asked $ 479 million for the Peace Corps, an increase of almost 11% in funding during the previous year.
