Three of the four US Army soldiers who were missing during the training mission near Pabradė, Lithuania, last week were found dead on Monday, but the search was ongoing for the fourth soldier, the army said.
Their identity is not released.

The Hercules M88 armored recovery vehicle owned by the soldiers when they were lost were removed from the swamp Monday morning after six days of work to take it, said the army.
The soldiers, all of which were based in Fort Stewart, Georgia, were lost on Tuesday during training training, the Army said.
On Wednesday, their 63 tons vehicles were found to be submerged in about 15 feet of water and “mud like clay” in the training area, the army said.

“Most likely, M88 drove to the swamp,” and the vehicle “might have just left diagonally downward,” Defense Minister Lithuania Dovile Sakaliene told ABC News by telephone last week.
Multiday search efforts were complicated by swamp muddy conditions, officials said.

The Army said last week that they brought assets including “large capacity porridge pumps, cranes, more than 30 tons of gravel, and subject matter experts.”
“Polish armed forces have also volunteered to voluntarily a military engineer unit, carrying additional water pumps, tracking recovery vehicles, additional equipment and other additional supplies needed together with 150 personnel,” the army said.

On Saturday, the US Navy diving team arrived at the location, joining Lithuania divers, the Army said.
