Three people were killed and five were injured in the shooting at a restaurant in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday night, according to the police.
The police said they believed more than one suspect was involved.
Many people were arrested to be questioned but so far no one was arrested, said the police.
The shooting took place around 19:45 local time at the El Camaron Gigante Steak house, according to Glendale police.

The area is now safe without danger to the public, said the police.
Five injured victims including gunshot wounds and bullet fragments injuries, the Glendale Moroni Mendez Police spokesman told reporters.
Mendez appealed to each witness to contact authority.
