Two people were shot on Friday outside the Minnesota College arena during high school, the police said.
The incident occurred around 20:20 local time outside 3M Arena Di Mariucci at the Twin Cities University of Minnesota campus when the graduation ceremony for Wayzata Middle School was taking place, the campus police department said in a statement.

The conditions and identity of the two victims were not immediately known on Saturday afternoon.
The police arrested a suspect but did not immediately identify them or provide further details about the possibility of motives.
“The authorities do not believe there is a continuous threat to the area,” the Minnesota University Police Department said in a statement.
The Governor of the Walz team responded to the shooting at X, calling the incident “terrible.”
“The time for the celebration that should never turn into fear and sadness,” Walz wrote. “Our mind with all that is affected by this unreasonable acts of violence,” he wrote.
